Born to a pair of hippies in the late sixties, raised on a healthy diet of iconoclasm and traditionalism, and thrust into the underground music scene of the late 80s, I've tried to be a bit of everything.
In the 90s, met my perfect match, got married, and live in a little apartment where I run games, play on the computer, watch great movies, and hang out with friends.
It's not perfect, but I really like it.
Basic facts - I like to meet people and don't mind people adding me to their friends. There's a good chance I'll add you back.
However - here's part of my philosophy: Own your words. Don't be coy about it, and don't try to run from anything you've said.
Finally, I am a geek and an avid role-player, but rather than fill up my social journal with stuff about gaming, I put it all in mygamethoughts. If you are interested in stuff like that, read that list.
Go join fanatic_hate to show you can have a rational conversation about questionable topics. If you can't, really, don't post here. Don't even bother friending me.
A couple of other notes: I'm anti-death penalty, anti-forced birth movement (they aren't pro life or pro baby), pro-civil rights, anti-dogma, pro-Constitution, independent thinking, pro-human being, pro-education, pro-sapience, pro-sex-ed, open minded and pro-social justice Christian, pro-science, pro-skepticism, and pretty much anarchic oriented futurist. (Long story - I think there's a post about that last part somewhere.)
I'm also eclectic - I think any pure economic system is destined for failure, be it capitalism, socialism, communism, or the libertarian route. You need to mash it all up for anything to be effective for a society as a whole - not just for an elite few.
As long as you understand I support our right to disagree with each other, we'll get along fine.
